Sod installation pricing is based on square footage coverage and the type of grass you choose. The different types of zoysia grasses are on the higher end of the price range, while bermuda and fescue tend to be more affordable. We don’t publish a fixed pricing chart on this page since the cost of sod from the sod farm fluctuates. The following factors go into your quote: 1) the cost of the sod, 2) cost of delivery, 3) total labor (preparing the soil — tilling, removing debris, leveling/grading, adding lime/fertilizer, laying the sod, and edging), and 4) cost of top soil, fertilizer, and lime.
If you know the square footage of the area where you’re laying sod, we can give you an instant ballpark price. Most of the time the square-footage estimate is close to the onsite quote, though a few variables can affect labor cost: 1) the amount of top soil needed, 2) the amount of labor required to grade, level, and prep the yard, and 3) the amount of debris that needs to be removed (tilled-up grass, excess rocks, roots, or a stump).
During busy season, please measure your yard and provide us the square footage of the area you want sod installed. We may also ask for photos or a short video of your yard to help us account for any variable costs.
