Hi, My name is Tony Daniel, the owner and operator of Curb Appeal Landscaping and Lawncare. We provide a full range of landscape services. Although sod installation is our specialty we are continuously growing, evolving, and expanding our skilled trade services beyond landscaping. Most of our staff is handy in many trades, so just ask and we may be able to help you. Our services include: gutter cleaning, sod installation, retaining wall installation, hardscaping/pavers/patio installation, tree work, drainage solutions, bobcat/tractor work (grading and land clearing), and basic lawn service (includes: grass cutting, edging, hedge trimming, weed eating, mosquito control, mulch installation and tree work).
We are an innovative landscape company that uses the lastest technology to reduce operating costs and labor to help reduce our expenses which helps us give you the best deal possible. Currently, we are a “bare bones” operation that offer some of the most competitive pricing in the industry. By reducing our overhead costs by doing our advertising internally(mostly by me), we are able to save you more money by us not paying for an external ad agency.
If you can calculate the square footage of the area where you want sod laid along with any other type of information such as using your phone to send us photos or videos upon request then you can give you an instant approximate cost of job while you are in the comparing prices phase. For sod installation our labor rates are on a per pallet basis. Read more about our quote process and how you can help us help you by clicking on the “how to deal with contractors” page.
The “pricing per square footage page” explains in more detail how we determine the quote for your job. Here we explain ways how you can help us help you get the best price by gathering basic information for the quote to help us give you an approximate cost of job prior to making an onsite quote.
Our “sod installation-before after pictures” page gives you a visual of several jobs of the hundreds of sod installation jobs we completed. Include a photo of our ground preparation to create the best condition possible for sod to thrive and then the after shot of the finished product. The content of the before/after pictures page includes addresses for some of the photos so you can drive by to see job in person.
I have a couple of piles of limbs that have fallen from a large tree that I have…. I am looking for someone that can shred them into mulch for me… Is that something that your company can do?
Yes, it is something we can do but we would have to rent a chipper. Unless it is a large pile of limbs it probably would not be worth your money for us to rent one. We don’t own a chipper because it is very high maintenance and we are not normally asked to do it. Renting a chipper would cost around $129 for 4 hours and $169 for a day + the labor.
